Point location of nature reservoirs. Points were selected based on proximity to inland water and rivers layers features. This data was extracted from the GEOnet Names Server (GNS), which provides access to the National Imagery and Mapping Agency's (NIMA) database of foreign geographic feature names.

Purpose:

To provide users with a set of essential basemap features for use as a stand-alone map or putting other tabular or geospatial data in a larger spatial context.
